Dr. S. Dhivya Bharathi, a Pharm.D. graduate with a postgraduate degree in Clinical Nephrology from the UK Orgs., is now a trailblazing entrepreneur as the Managing Director & CEO of DhiShi Group of Companies.

Her journey is nothing short of inspiring. Her entrepreneurial spirit ignited in her third year of Pharm.D. when she founded Medxury®, a pioneering platform designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world clinical practice. However, she didn’t stop there. With a relentless drive to expand her impact on healthcare and research, she evolved her vision into something even bigger-DhiShi Scientific Pvt. Ltd. What began as a single initiative soon grew into a private limited company, now home to five thriving brands:

Her visionary leadership and groundbreaking contributions to pharmacy, research, and education make her an inspiration to aspiring professionals worldwide. Let’s get her insights on a few of our questions and dive into the future she envisions!

1. As a pioneer in pharmacy education and research, where do you see the future of Pharm.D. professionals in the next decade, and how is DhiShi preparing them for the challenges ahead?

Ah, the future of Pharm.D. professionals!

Picture this: a world where pharmacists are not just pill dispensers and a traditional clinical pharmacist but healthcare superheroes armed with AI-powered diagnostic tools, personalized medicine capsules, and maybe even working with nanobots that deliver drugs directly to your cells. In the next decade, Pharm.D. professionals will be at the forefront of precision medicinegenomic therapies, and telepharmacy  – consulting patients from Mumbai to Mississippi (because, why not?).

At DhiShi and Pharmscape, we’re already preparing our students for this futuristic landscape. Our extensive team of healthcare professionals is striving best to bring up budding professionals to push complexities and build a progressive career path.

We’re not just teaching pharmacy; we’re creating intergalactic healthcare pioneers ready to tackle challenges from Earth to the stars..

2. CHR is rapidly emerging as an innovation hub. What are the key research areas you are currently focusing on, and how do they address real-world healthcare challenges?

At CHR, we don’t merely perform research, we streamline it from idea to impact. FrontLabs focuses on a wide range of research supplies, from chemicals and reagents to kits. Along with cutting-edge pre-clinical and clinical studies, sample analysis, and advanced product testing. ScienceBy ensures that groundbreaking research gets the scientific writing, editorial precision, and global publication it deserves.

Collectively, these brands are changing the game in every way — not just advancing research as emerging leaders, but also changing how research is conducted, published and applied the world over!

3. Many research institutions struggle with fragmented processes. How is CHR building a centralized approach to research and development?

That’s exactly the gap we are filling! Most researchers juggle between institutions, CROs, and publication services. CHR is bringing everything under one roof. From identifying research problems to running pre-clinical trials at NABL-accredited labs, and from writing manuscripts to high-impact publications at ScienceBy, we provide an end-to-end solution. We are eliminating silos, reducing delays, and making research more efficient and globally accessible.

4. As a young woman CEO leading multiple companies, you’ve broken barriers. What do you think the next generation of women leaders in STEM and healthcare need to thrive in leadership roles?

The next generation of women leaders doesn’t just need a seat at the table. They need to build the table! Women in STEM and healthcare must embrace confidence, strategic networking, and a fearless approach to innovation. The world doesn’t need leaders who wait for permission; it needs disruptors who create change. My advice? Own your ideas, be unapologetically ambitious, and when you succeed – pull more women up with you!

5. As an entrepreneur who started from a single idea and scaled it into a multi-brand enterprise, what advice do you have for young professionals who aspire to build global ventures in healthcare and research?

Entrepreneurship isn’t a straight road…. It’s a rollercoaster! You’ll have moments of doubt, crazy deadlines, and the occasional ‘why did I sign up for this?’ existential crisis. But here’s the secret: if your idea solves a real problem, you’ve already won half the battle. Build with purpose, accept failures as stepping stones, and surround yourself with people smarter than you. And remember, innovation doesn’t wait. So if you have an idea, start now. Perfection is a myth; progress is real!

6. If we fast-forward 10 years, what do you want your legacy to be? How do you envision DhiShi shaping the future of global healthcare, education, and scientific research?

The more bitter and exciting truth is that science is uncertain.” Playing with the flow of things is the key to survival in the long run. So, 10 years from now, I want DhiShi to be more than just a company. I want it to be a movement. A darling, where my vision of making an impact to the pharmacy community is doing it’s best, conducting international research projects, and as like the science goes.

I cannot say what my ambitions are but I clearly know innovation isn’t an option. If my legacy is a world where knowledge is unbound and accessible, then mission accomplished.
